This work developed around a particular formal idea I had which I found to be quite novel.

Though on the surface, A Lyrical Concertino is comprised of many more than two sections, the underlying formal structure consists of two large sections. The first half is freely composed and the second half takes the violin part from the half and distributes it across the ensemble in the second half. Can you hear any of this transfer?
